Exploring hidden Art

Tatty Devine

Tatty devine is an independent british company that manufactures and sells unique jewellery. you can feel a happy and funky vibe as soon as you walk into the shop. With the interior and exterior perfectly matching their products. The Jewellry is quite something, all are laser cut and designed by Tatty devine themselves in their workshops. you can see straight into the workshop at the back of the shop, having a little peak at some candy skulls that were currently being cut in the machine. Most of the jewellery is Perspex, but from looking around they do have slight diversity into wood, leather ect. Personally, its not my type of thing. But I did enjoy having a look.

Day in Shoreditch, Spitalfields, Brick Lane

You come across a lot of interesting things when you explore around Brick Lane. Starting off at Shoreditch High street, you instantly notice all the graffiti art. I personally really like it, it makes the place seem more colourful and intriguing to walk around. It makes a wall, something.

I noticed a gate full of padlocks, I've seen this quite a lot around London and other Foreign countries I've been to. Placing a lock on the gate, with someone's name on it. Representing Love.

First stop was Spitalfields Market, which is always nice to walk around. Bars are quite contemporary there and Arty, some are vans, one was a Bird cage. And one had a bath full of rubber ducks. Instead of focusing on the stalls in the market, I decided to look at the building itself, sketching the structure and windows.

While walking towards a place I've always wanted to see, a café with cats. From what at first I thought was a dead bird on the gate, big clumps of somewhat hairy substance dotted amongst the gates of a basketball court. With 'If we spit together, we can drown the bastards' in the distance of the rooftops.

Print Gallery

I stumbled across a little print gallery that focused on showing upcoming artists and students that want to get their work 'out there'. I came across quite a few lovely pieces, for example: Ann simberg, I loved the content of her prints. exploring the idea of animals and mythical creatures.
her prints are quite beautiful to look at, very delicate lines with washing backgrounds.

Tyler Thrasher

An artist that I stumbled across is Tyler Thrasher. Creating pieces by crystalizing dead moths and other insects. Thrasher changes the state of the deceased into something quite beautiful.

Richard Muller

Richard Muller depicts etchings of almost surreal, nightmarish, dreamy encounters between humans and animals; reptiles, mammals and birds.
